History
When the decision was made in 1986 to establish
Zenith Equipment Inc. in Georgia-USA, Zenith Maschinenfabrik GmbH
was already very successfully engaged in the American Concrete Block
Industry since more than a decade. In fact, Zenith Customers from
Germany and other European countries were amongst the first, to
bring the Concrete Paving Stones to this continent, as an
economically, aesthetically and ecologically alternative to
other paving methods, such as Asphalt and Poured Concrete.
The Atlanta Metropolitan Area was and is still a good choice to establish
a sales and service facility in our industry: The introduction and
development of the Concrete Paving Stones started in the East Coast
Area, and Atlanta offers important logistic advantages, as a hub
between the continents, but also as springboard to the huge Americas.
Today
People, Products and Services may change in almost three decades, as
a result of a natural development.
Zenith's commitment to that market, the customers and the whole
industry however stays unchanged, like in the pioneering times in the
mid seventies of the last century. However, our market area has widened: we
are not only engaged in US and Canada, but also in the Caribbeans
and all Spanish speaking countries in Latin America.
Our philosphy is very simple: we develop successful customers, and
with this long-termed relations to the people and the market, and
the return of this efforts is a mutual benefit, for everybody, the
customers, Zenith Equipment Inc. and the whole Zenith Family.
The big advantages, which we can provide to our customers, are
not only the first-class equipment and services from various brands,
which are grouped along the value-adding process of a Concrete Block
Factory, but always centered around our core products, made by
Zenith Maschinenfabrik Gmbh/Germany.
Even more important is, that with projects from all around the world,
Zenith always has eyes and ears for the latest development of the
end-products. In meantime, the information transfer is multi-directional:
we try to encourage our American Customers to integrate European
developements into their offers, for example Permeable Paving
Stones, Paving Stones with elegant surfaces (Hard faced or Shot
Blasted). But we also recommend typical American products, like
Segmental Retaining Wall Units, or Antiqued Paving Stones, to users
in Europe, Middle East or Far East.
In this sense, we define ourselves no more as a Sales and Service
Office, like we started in 1986, but as the
SOLUTION PARTNER FOR THE AMERICAN CONCRETE
BLOCK INDUSTRY.
